Why We Exist
A “Mahala” takes care of everything and everyone no matter the cost
We exist to take care of Mahalas everywhere; providing the support they need to take care of their loved ones and themselves
What We Do
We provide untraditional resources for those in unexpected circumstances.
Whether it’s a single parent taking care of their children, an adult assuming responsibility for aging parents, or a family member watching over a loved one, caregiving requires tremendous effort.
Navigating competing obligations of caring for loved ones and providing financially for them is challenging. It’s even more difficult when unforeseen situations arise. Those who don’t qualify for traditional means of support, such as social services, are often left without options in those moments.
We know Mahalas are expected to keep it all together without “backup” to rely on. That’s why our goal is to provide support to Mahalas so they can take care of their loved ones and themselves.
