At Mahala House, it’s our mission to uplift caregivers as personally worthy of receiving all of the support, care, and consideration that they impart to their own loved ones.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world where caregiving is valued and caregivers — the Mahalas of the world — are fully supported.
Why?
We all know a Mahala; the person who you can count on to provide care when it’s needed.
Single unpaid caregivers face an incredible responsibility to serve as the primary provider for all members of the household. Providing the range of basic needs to multiple people beyond yourself requires a high level of commitment to others and personal persistence.
It is this commitment and persistence to care that all Mahalas deserve in return in recognition of their importance.
